Cape Henlopen State Park - Bike Loop Trail
This 3 mile trail inside Cape Henlopen State Park
has a surface suitable for skating.
The trail connects the Fort Miles Historic
Area, and the parks nature center, beach bathhouse,
campground, observation tower, outdoor fitness area,
and office. The trail can be accessed from
trailheads at the Seaside Nature Center,
the Fort Miles Historic Area, the Fishing Pier
Parking Lot, and the Bathhouse Parking Lot.
James F. Hall Trail
This 1.76 mile trail connects three Newark, Delaware
city parks: Phillips Park, Lewis Park, and Kells Park.
The trail can be accessed at several points
including inside those parks and at Bradford Lane, Apple Road,
Academy Street, Manual Street, Chapel Street, Wyoming Road.
and the South College Avenue overpass.
Junction and Breakwater Rail Trail
This six mile point-to-point paved multi-use trail
in Delaware's Sussex county winds through Cape
Henlopen State Park. One end of the trail is near
the Wolfe's Neck archaeological site in Lewes,
Delaware and the other end is
at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (note
that this trail is paved but I'm not sure
how smooth the surface is).
