seashore by President John F. Kennedy in 1961. The
seashore is about 70 square miles in size and it includes
approximately 40 miles of coastline on the east side of
Cape Cod Peninsula.

freshwater lakes, and historic sites.
Note that Cumberland Island is only accessible by boat.
