Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park
Battlefield park established in 1917 to preserve a battleground of the
Civil War Atlanta Campaign and commemorate the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain.
The park is about 2,920 acres in size and it is
located at 905 Kennesaw Mountain Drive between
the towns of Marietta and Kennesaw. Designated a United States
Historic District on October 15, 1966.
