Autodromo Sunix
Asphalt paved auto racing track that first opened in 1998.
The track is about 1.6 miles long, it has 11 turns,
two straightaways, and spectator stands that can seat approximatately 15,000.
The motorsports track was known as the Autodromo Internacional de Las Americas
until Sunix of the Matri Petroleum Group became the main
sponsor of the track in March of 2015.
Sunix is the main sponsor of the track but the company
Dominican Race Events is the track operator.
Located in in the city of Santo Domingo Este, in the
Santo Domingo Province, just east of the national capital
city of Santo Domingo de Guzman.
